Group Hug is the revival of an anonymous confessions site that ran from 2003 to 2009. Nearly half a million people wrote something they couldn’t say anywhere else. That archive lives here, alongside new entries.
The idea is simple: anyone can anonymously confess to anything, and knowing someone will read it feels, somehow, good.
No account. No trackers. We store the text you wrote, the date, and an opaque token that only exists to prevent the same person from voting twice.

No names, phone numbers, addresses, or anything that could out someone else.
Paste-a-URL posts get rejected automatically.
That’s the whole thing. Not every confession has to be heavy.
